The Musil - Museum of Industry and Labour of Brescia is one of the most recent realizations of museums based on the territory and focused on the History of industrial progress. Through its differents centers and paths, the Musil of Brescia is a regional scale system based on the model of the most innovative European experiences. For Italy, it is the first dynamic museum with a central unit in the city and a net of branches on the territory:
- the Musil of Rodengo Saiano, in Franciacorta, is a store open to the public and which works for the whole museums’s system;
- the Museum of the hydrolectric power of Cedegolo – Valle Camonica, based in an ex hydroelectric plant;
- the Museum of Iron, located in an old forge for iron processing, in Brescia;
- the central unit, still under construction in the vicinity of the ex-plant Tempini, in Brescia.
