Summer 2026 at MUSIL Cedegolo: Visits, Concerts, Workshops, and Shows for All Ages

From July 5 to August 28, 2026, the MUSIL – Valle Camonica Hydroelectric Energy Museum offers a summer program of guided tours, concerts, astronomical observations, creative workshops, and shows dedicated to adults, children, and families.

The calendar opens on Sunday, July 5, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with A brief journey to the origins of energy, a visit to the SEB basin, now transformed into a park, from which the Oglio river's water began its journey through forced conduits to power the central turbines, now home to MUSIL. The park is reachable on foot and is about 15 minutes from the museum. The cost of the guided tour to the park, including museum admission, is 7 euros for the full ticket and 5 euros for the reduced ticket.

Friday, July 10, from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM, the concert Guitar and Voice is scheduled, a musical journey between Europe and Latin America with soprano To Sakura and guitarist Giulia Bardella. The event is organized in collaboration with the Luca Marenzio Conservatory of Brescia, Darfo Boario Terme branch. Full admission 7 euros, reduced 5 euros.

Friday, July 17, from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, the evening What are you doing, moon, in the sky? will lead adults and children to discover the Earth's satellite, among seas of dust and ancient craters. The event, curated by Andrea Zamboni, head of MUSIL education, will conclude with a telescope observation. Full admission 7 euros, reduced 5 euros.

Friday, July 24, from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM, the event Behind the Scenes of “The Last Days” will be dedicated to high-altitude photography and video created with 19th-century cameras. Photographer Michele Gusmeri and directors Matteo Sandrini and Paolo Guarneri will present images, anecdotes, technical solutions adopted in extreme conditions, and a practical demonstration of the equipment used. During the evening, demonstrative photographs with negative development will also be taken. Full admission 7 euros, reduced 5 euros.

Friday, July 31, from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Unique Print: Ink Monotype Workshop will be held, an activity for adults and children dedicated to the artistic technique of monotype and the creation of a fanzine. The workshop is curated by Luna Storta and has a maximum of 25 participants. Full admission 7 euros, reduced 5 euros.

The program continues on Friday, August 7, from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with Giacomino and the Magic Bean, an aerial silks and theater show for families created by the Centopercento Teatro Association. The protagonist's adventures will be told through the language of the circus. Full admission 9 euros, reduced 7 euros.

Monday, August 10, from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, on the occasion of the night of San Lorenzo, the event To see the stars again will offer adults and children the opportunity to observe the sky with a telescope. The activity is curated by Andrea Zamboni. Full admission 7 euros, reduced 5 euros.

Saturday, August 15, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, MUSIL will celebrate Ferragosto with reduced admission at a cost of 5 euros.

Tuesday, August 18, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, the visit A brief journey to the origins of energy to the SEB basin and the museum will be re-proposed. The cost is 7 euros for the full ticket and 5 euros for the reduced ticket.

Friday, August 21, from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Vita nuova will be staged, a theatrical show by the Centopercento Teatro Association that combines theater, music, and aerial acrobatics. At the center of the performance is the encounter between a flying Beatrice and an adolescent Dante. Full admission 9 euros, reduced 7 euros.

The series will conclude on Friday, August 28, from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with Stamps and Patterns, a workshop for adults and children dedicated to creating matrices and graphic combinations to decorate paper and fabrics. The activity is curated by Luna Storta and has a maximum of 25 participants. Full admission 7 euros, reduced 5 euros.


Until October 25, the exhibition The Last Days. The Adamello glacier in Michele Gusmeri's photographs will also be open. The exhibition presents thirty-three photographic shots documenting the dramatic retreat and ephemeral beauty of the largest concentration of ice in the Italian Alps.
