On Tuesday, August 18, 2026, MUSIL - the Hydroelectric Energy Museum of Valle Camonica proposes "A Short Journey to the Origins of Energy", a guided tour of the historic SEB basin of Cedegolo, today transformed into a park.
The basin was a fundamental element of the ancient hydroelectric plant: from here the water of the Oglio river began its journey through forced conduits, feeding the turbines of the power station that today houses MUSIL. The park is located about a 15-minute walk from the museum.
The visit, scheduled from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, will allow participants to explore Cedegolo's industrial landscape and to understand more closely the functioning of the system that transformed the force of water into electricity. At the end of the tour, it will also be possible to visit the Hydroelectric Energy Museum.
The initiative takes place with the patronage of the Municipality of Cedegolo.
